Simple, Easy, Cute, Fast, DIY

Good morning! I have a quick and super easy DIY! Lately I have been doing a lot of research for my shop and products and been getting so many ideas together and no place to place them where I can see them everyday and get inspiration and for the time being my work space is  not to big. I honestly like the size I have it now but I just don't have to much space to display stuff because it is small.  I don have some wall space so I tried a bulletin/cork board to display my ideas and it got to cluttered and over whelming for me. But the other day when I was reading the Handmade Market place I got the idea if a Inspiration/ Idea line which I thought would be awesome for me. Basically its like a clothing line but with just ideas and thoughts.
So here are the things I gathered for it. I found most of them from the Dollar store, like the clothes pins the string to hang and the rhinestones. The white hooks I got from Target. So all that is left is to print you idea's thoughts and inspiration.
The next thing I did was dazzle the clothes pins with rhinestones so they add some cuteness! I will make some more later adding hearts and embellishments.
So I just placed the hook in the wall. If you don't want any holes in your wall use command stripes instead they have really cute hook options. I tied mine in a cute bow to add that little cuteness once again. And you just hag it like a clothing wire against the wall whatever length you want.
So that is basically it! Simple, Easy, Fast and effective. Place your pictures on,  and change them out whenever a new idea comes along. You can also hang other things that inspire you for the time being that are not to heavy, like jewelry stickers embellishments. I love this idea and how I can just view things will I am working and without the clutter also.
I also had extra clothes pins laying around. The pack was pretty big for  a dollar. So I just dazzled them up and used them to display my rings. Happy DIY!

Resources

So lately I have been busy trying to get my little shop going! I am so excited to be able to have so many resources available today to make this happen. This last week I have been making some new inventory new designs and working on packaging. I have been working on opening my shop and decided it would be when my business cards get here in the mail so then I can include them in orders, and it would also give me enough time to get things ready. I have been taking photos uploading and coming up with descriptions and prices. Starting more social networking sites so I can find my spot in the hand making community and network.  On top of the balance of housework.  But I am loving the adventure in this and still and managing to keep organized. I have even expanded my work space

So as far as the resources I mentioned above there are so many! Like http://pinterest.com/ I have gotten so many good ideas as far as style, inspiration, packaging I love it! The blogger community has also gotten so much bigger and connected, I love reading and getting inspired by others in the handmade world. It also saddens me though because many of the people I followed had stop blogging but I am open to start following new writers! There is Instagram which I have been able to follow and network with some talented people. And Etsy! can I just say I love http://www.etsy.com/ I love the amazing stuff on there and the creativity of it all but most important it has given me a chance and a stepping stone to my dreams. But the best one I have to say is my Hubby he has encouraged me, supported me, and cheers for me everyday.

Oh and this book I stumbled across is just so good!  I am still in the process of reading it but It's already given me so much information knowledge in the handmade business world, paired to with a good coffee it works wonders

Milestones

So lately I been on a orange/ tangerine kick without trying. I been consuming tangerines, orange juice, and even my beauty products have been scented orange. I think that is my new Love for the moment.
But maybe it's a good thing because lately I been so productive and just finally checking things off my to do list! One of my things has been to finally get my business up and running.  I have been planning to do so for a long time but just have been doubting myself. But a couple weeks ago I stumbled on a blogger who really has just inspired me to take off! Take the risk and just start living your dreams! But then I thought to myself That I just don't have what it takes or sources. But there is this quote I live by now ....

                                                                      Start where you are
                                                                        Use what you have
                                                                         Do what you can

I don't know who wrote it, but it is exactly what I need to hear. I need to not wait for the perfect moment or equipment, or right mood or time in my life because I will go through life just waiting as everything goes by until one day I will look back and realize it was always the the perfect moment. As long as you have passion it will happen and I might not have everything to get to my dreams at this moment but I have inspiration that will lead me towards the things I need to get it there. I need to just start simple! I found so much beauty in simple lately. That is one of my inspirations right now and one of my platforms, and has just been helping me develop. So with that being said I made a huge milestone and  purchased my first ever business cards!

I am just waiting in the mail for them! I know the bottom is blurred out but that is because I am not ready to release my shop yet. But that is another exciting thing! Its almost up and running! I am so excited to finally just be moving forward! I just need to work on a couple more things to fully launch. Today has been a lot of completing things off my list so I had to miss on the lesson plans for the kiddos. But I did end up with a clean dog fresh out of a bath

Big Bang

Today it begin! With a big bang? No.. but it still got accomplished. It's funny how you plan and plan for the right time and moment and most of the time when it gets here it is not what you pictured, but the one thing that matters is it got completed. Today the goal was wake up early go running , get some homeschooling in smoothly then work on my business. With all the energy in the world I was going to all of sudden have.... I swear having energy when you are a mom is a super power that I lack. So I didn't wake up early  in time for running but enough to to drop off my son in Preschool and then a Target Run.
I love the dollar Section in Target. Everything up top I grabbed for my self for a dollar( not including the baby foot) A cute notepad for business ideas, different approach to recipe cards, and storage for my jewelry supplies! I also scored on stuff for the kiddos for learning. I stopped buying them toys a while ago and trading it in for buying fun learning materiel which they love just as much all for only a Dollar!
So after successful treasure find I pick up the kiddo from preschool we come home to do more schooling! I know I know It sounds like a lot but when the kiddos beg for it what can I say! When I teach its my bonding time with them and one on one time. It's the time they explore with me, and express themselves with me. With art, music, and so on. So I try to make it more about discovering with me then me teaching them. It took me a while to learn that. Today was all about the A's!

The worksheets I printed out from one of my favorite bloggers and her websites       http://www.1plus1plus1equals1.com/TotSchoolPrintables.html

         We did Dot Stamping
    Coloring
         Alphabet bingo
            Singing the Alphabet
         Coloring sorting
         And painting
Then after all that snacks showers and this awesome Imagine play

New Post

So I restarted and restarted this blog and then stopped, Getting caught up in the whirlwind of the L.A life and trying to find a right way to start a blog. I feel so inspired by so many blogs but then comparison gets the best of me because, So I get discouraged and stop. As a new Blogger it's overwhelming and things seem so complicated to start, a fancy camera, a mac computer, a unique style, a family with cute style and so on..I have none to say the least. The one thing I have though is passion to create a extraordinary life with just the simple things all around me and with that I will let it take off! Making it as simple and beautiful as possible so people can relate and say " I can do this" SO  with that I will slowly blend this intro post with another post to avoid the awkward first post. Enjoy! So As a stay home mom you always wonder "can I be doing more for my child?" and you can not help to compare to those little ones around you. But honestly with me, I always just wondered (what if..) and just went through my daily life with no routine or schedule and not changing anything. Well as you can imagine it started getting hectic with no order and Tv became a main part of our day and the kids were just not learning at all. So I decided it was time for a routine and I did research. The place I found best was.. you guessed it, Pinterest! So after many hours researching I came up with a schedule (which I haven't touched hahaha) but one pin after another..and it Hit Me! Tot School! I have read so many blogs about homeschooling and how the younger kids have Tot school. I thought what fun! I can really enjoy there childhood while teaching them, Experimenting, creating.  So I realized the reason the Schedule didn't work out for me and it sat there for months without being touched, was because it was just same boring routine.I felt like it was just to get by to the the next day there was no enjoyment for me at all or adventures. Life without art, experimenting, learning, joy can get easily distracted by Tv, Facebook, Pinterest, and cellphones and we are back to no routine and no learning. But I decided Tot school/ homeschooling would be such a wonderful to grow and have such great learning adventures with your kids. So I have decided to give it a try with my 18 month old and 3 year old and for the last couple days it has been so much fun! But there are so many different activities, methods, and curriculum's its very overwhelming. SO this is where the adventure begins! The reason I choose to blog it down is to be able to network with other parents, share my ideas, get feedback,  share memories, and have a place to for my adventures. So with that said I will start this teaching adventure from scratch! I have nothing except a mess in my house and lots of toys. School is in session :)
